Playgroup
Playgroup has been running at Kirrae for nearly 20 years!
Playgroup runs from 10am - 12.30pm weekly during school terms.
Activities encourage fine and gross motor skills, sensory activities, art, nature, music, reading, numbers, colours, shapes, free play and kinder readiness activities. Playgroup is designed to help connect children and extended family with community and culture in a positive, child safe environment.
We have LOTS of fun at playgroup!
Holiday Program
Weekly during school holidays, activities are wide and varied! We include sport, physical fitness, art, music, craft, culture, cooking and more.
A program of activities is released before each holiday period.
Koko Blokes
This is an awesome group for boys and young men of the community aged 7 - 17. Koko is a Kirrae Whurrong word meaning younger brother. The boys get together each week and participate in fun fitness activities, camps, cultural activities, dance and more.
Kalat Girls
This is an awesome group for girls and young women of the community aged 12 - 25. Kalat is a Kirrae Whurrong word meaning eldest sister. The girls get together each week and participate in fun fitness activities, craft activities, cultural activities, and more.
