Warrnambool Urgent Care Clinic

Is supporting the Warrnambool Base Hospital by Epichealth by treating Urgent Care Cases in their rooms and leaving Emergencies for the Hospital Emergency Department.  It is free for anyone to use. Their operating hours may change so please check their site for the latest information www.warrnamboolucc.com.au

Nurse On Call

Nurse On Call is a phone service that provides immediate, expert health advice from a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Virtual ED

Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED), a public health service to treat non life-threatening emergencies.  The Victorian Virtual Emergency Department is open all day, every day. This service currently provides support for COVID related issue only, for people in our region.

GP After-Hours Helpline

Victorians can now call the national after hours GP helpline directly for reassurance and practical medical advice. The helpline is free to callers from landlines within Australia and operates Monday to Saturday 6pm to 8am, and from 12noon Saturday to 8am Monday and on all public holidays.

Appointment information

If you need a GP appointment for more than one issue or for something that will take longer than 15 minutes, make sure that you tell reception when making your appointment. This helps to ensure they can book the correct appointment to suit your needs.

Masks are optional however, if you are experiencing any cold & flu symptoms, we ask that you please wear a mask.

Cancellation Fees

Should you not attend your scheduled GP appointment and not notify us 24 hours in advance you may incur a cancellation fee.  Should we make an appointment for you with an external service provider and you do not attend, you will incur the cancellation fee.

 

OUR GP's

We have three different GP's at Kirrae.  Please note we do not have any full time GP's onsite.

Dr Chandanvir Saini (Tuesday and Fridays 10am-2pm)

Chandan holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She offers Skin Checks and Minor Procedures. Dr Chandan is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Her areas of interest are: General Medicine, Women’s Health and Aged Care

Dr Phillip Hall (First Tuesday of each month, 4pm-7pm)

In addition to his GP training, Dr Hall holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and is a Fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM). Dr Hall has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice. He oversees the continuing education of all clinicians at the Lyndoch Medical Hub Clinic, supervises training of medical students in a GP setting and is an accredited principal supervisor of GP Registrars. Areas of interest: Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Sports Medicine, Family Medicine

 

Dr Andrea Hedgland (Third Wednesday of each month 9.30am - 12.10pm)

Andrea has a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery, University of Otago, New Zealand, 1993

Communication Assistance

We can assist you if you are hard of hearing of have difficulties communicating by phone through the assistance of the National Relay Service
