Kirrae Health Service is proud to support The Koori Way.
The Koori Way is a statewide health promotion initiative of the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service, to help First Nations people in Victoria on their journey to Quit or discourage using any tobacco or vaping products.
The Koori Way have programs and campaigns that are created by community for community that look like:

Youth Programs for high school and primary school aged children to discourage tobacco and vape product usage Community engagement through hosting events that support nicotine free lifestyles and environments, and supporting your events

Designing and implementing population health campaigns such as Flip the Vape

Put you in touch with services and health professionals who can guide you along your quit journey
Kirrae health service have created yearly events that are supported by the Koori Way including:

Ready for learning: Held in January before the school year begins, is a full day event with activities and a 3x3 basketball competition

Koori Karnival: held in March is a family fun day supported by all 4 south west ACCHO’s. It is a cultural celebration day with blak markets, blak music, stalls, food trucks cultural activities and more!
